ANYA is an AMAZING TALENT. A MILLINER unparalleled to none. This INIMITABLE DESIGNER does not make your common, ordinary hat, she has made some of the best I have ever seen!!! Her Majesty has worked with CROWNING names in the INDUSTRY of fashion such as, but not limited to, DONNA KAREN, John Galliano, the late ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, Sir Andrew Ginger.just to name a few! Can it get any better than this???

To utter the name, ANYA CALIENDO, is to utter the name of ROYALTY!

La Petite Plume receives ANOTHER AWARD!!! I have been away for quite some time now and little did I know that I had been issued yet another award by one of my FAVORITE gal-pals!!! The one and only MILLINER, ANYA CALIENDO from COUTURE MILLINERY ATELIER. a TOP OF THE LINE TALENTED DESIGNER!! I had the honor and privilege of meeting ANYA, via her blog, CoutureMillineryAtelier, and I just love her to pieces! Anya has posted some, if not the best, articles and images on her blog. I love seeing the unbelievable HATS she creates for top designers such as DONNA KARAN AND JOHN GALLIANO, among so many more !!! I encourage for all to run and view this AMAZING DESIGNER'S work. Bonjour From Paris, Red Hat Society Single Note Card, Red Pearl Finished Envelope Included

La Petite Plume introduces it's first DIVINE blank note card dedicated to the EXTRAORDINARY women of the "RED HAT SOCIETY"! Yes, the women are off in PARIS but send you a big "BONJOUR"! A luxurious large card only fitting for a recipient of sophisticated taste. The lucky recipient of this card can then frame it as a long lasting keepsake and memory.

A single blank note card, 4.25 x 5.5, created on Imported letterpress parchment from FRANCE, followed by a Pearl Finished layer in a rich Brocade hue. The top portion of the card is decorated in a old world Paisley pattern, while the bottom is adorned in coordinating stripes. A wide woven Swiss dot ribbon in Ivory and Golden Rod run across horizontally and just above is a coordination plaid also in a Brocade hue with Taupe, which tie the entire pallet nicely. A triple Medallion in repeated colors hold the image of a beautiful young lady with her breathtaking large Red hat. Her gown in ENCRUSTED in Authentic Imported German Glass with a dusting of sparkling elements. Her square neckline shows off 17 Genuine Swarovski Crystals in Deep Rose! Finally, a fluffy PLUME in Violet decorates her hat and has an Extra large Swarovski Crystal in Deep Rose. Red Pearl Finished Envelope INCLUDED.

I Take My Hat Off To You!

La Petite Plume has chosen a must see blog to pass her "BEAUTIFUL BLOG AWARD" TO... ANYA CALIENDO at COUTURE MILLINERY ATELIER is our choice this week!

Anya is a MILLINER and she designs the most FABULOUS HATS BY HAND in her own Atelier located in New York, New York. She has designed hats for the best of the best. Such names as DONNA KAREN AND KINDER AGGUGINI is a 42-year old Italian and a graduate of the Central Saint Martin's , based in London. "The creative force behind the scenes at major labels including VERSACE, not to mention the fact that Kinder is a former apprentice to JOHN GALLIANO". The list just goes on and on. I just can not stop reading Anya's blog! Her articles and images are SIMPLY AMAZING AND A MUST SEE! Not to say her COUTURE creations. A Day at The Millinery, Entourage of Versailles Note Card Collection

La Petite Plume just loves its latest addition to our Spring 2010 Staionery Collection!

A day well spent at the Millinery for these Parisienne beauties. I know this would make me oh so happy! A divine pallet of Heavy Cream, Apple Green and Chocolate with notes of Mulberry and Rose, with beautiful Pine Swags and blooms. These are a must have for your Spring 2001 Stationery collection! A set of four note cards, 3.5 x 4.75 created on thick, plush Imported letterpress parchment from France. Textured Pistachio parchment is next and just above this pretty pallet a Damask pattern in Heavy Cream and Dove White. A triple medallion rests on a Napoleon striped cross grain ribbon, which runs beautifully through the inside of these blank cards and knot gracefully at the top. The medallion also in textured domestic parchments in Chocolate and Apple Green hold a depiction of a Parisienne Beauty among her many hats with fluffy plumes, bows and blooms dusted in the finest of glitters and German Glass. Genuine Swarovski Crystals dot the hats. Chocolate Pearl Finished Envelopes, beautifully lined, included.

It's A Shoe Thing!

If I had to choose one thing to run out of the house with in case of a fire, aside from the obvious, you know, the KIDS, the DOG, oh yeah, my HUSBAND, the PHOTOGRAPHS, I would grab my SHOES! I, like so many of us women, just love SHOES! I love the classic PUMPS. The way they just transform your posture into a tall, sophisticated lady. The era that captures my attention hands down would have to be the '40's. Women wore PEEP TOE PUMPS and HATS, and they just carried themselves with pride. So I have chosen some of my favorite pumps by one of my favorite designers, CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN! This designer just captures everything I just mentioned above. CLASSIC, LADY LIKE, AND SOPHISTICATED ELEGANCE, with his signature RED soles! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
