Duchesse de Polignac. French Inspired Greeting Cards, Lavender, Lined Pearl Finished Envelope Included, Set of 6- LIMITED EDITION

Yolande de Polastron, better known as the Duchesse de Polignac, was one of Marie Antoinette's best friends and later became the Governess of the royale children. This divine image is from the private collection of our very own Queen Sherry. One of our favourite customers. Sherry has requested we make her a Couture set of greeting cards and La Petite Plume has once again delivered in a jaw dropping color pallet!

Set of six greeting cards, 3.5 x 4.75, created on ribbed textured Lavender parchment, followed by a layer of Italian Imported shimmery Pearl Finished Celedon with a romantic swirl pattern. Next, a vintage inspired Fleur di Lis striped pattern in colors of years past, Sage and Pea Green adorn the top, while a floral pattern in Burnt Cantaloupe and shades of Olive cover the bottom portion. A triple band of ribbons run across the mid-section. The first ribbon is an Imported Baroque Floral from Germany, which has a ribbed texture in Chocolate and a felted Baroque design is in Olivina Green. The next two layers are in both Lavender and Plum double faced satin, and tie at the far right in a sweetheart bow. A triple medallion rests in the middle with the breathtaking image of the Duchesse de Polignac in a glorious Purple hat and Celedon shawl. The entire image is hand glittered and has two Genuine Swarovski Crystals in Olivina Green on her hat and on her choker. Lavender Pearl Finished Envelope included, luxuriously lined in Chocolate.

LE CRISTAL ROYALE, " The Royal Crystal"! Another divine note card collection created by one of our fabulous sub-division, House of Versailles, for La Petite Plume Designs. This set just takes me to the grand Chateau de Versailles. I just envision chandeliers such as this one hanging in Marie Antoinette's private apartments or boudoir! While she lounges in her chaise eating bon bons and listening to musisians playing soft melodies just for her and her crazy gal-pals!

Set of four large blank note cards, 4.25 x 5.5, created on thick, plush letterpress parchment in creamy Ivory. Pearl finished parchment in shimmery copper is followed by a textured Emerald, a printed pattern in a coordinating pallet is then followed by yet another layer of Copper which is the base for the BREATHTAKING image of a ballroom chandelier in all its glory. The CHANDELIER is hanging in a room with an ornate archway. Hints of Emerald Green swirls run through French Blue striped drapes. The Royale chandelier is ENCRUSTED in Imported German Glass and dusted in sparkling glitters of the finest quality. An Imported Organdy ribbon from ITALY, runs down the front and through the inside as an added surprise! An Extra large Genuine Swarovski Crystal dots the sweetheart bow at the top. Before she became our favorite Queen, she was Maria Antonia Josepha Johanna von Habsburg-Lothringen, Archduchess of Austria, fifteenth and penultimate child of Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Francis I. Here in this divine set of mini cards she is depicted as the young and Innocent Marie , prior to all that was to come of the doomed Queen of France. But we love her all the same!Set of six mini cards, 3.5 x 2.5 created on thick, plush letterpress parchment in a Creamy, velvety White, followed by a textured layer in Spring Breeze. A Pearl Finished layer in Meridian Blue A layer of textured Heavy Cream holds the depiction of our sweet Marie in shades of French Blue and Rose. She is encrusted in Authentic German Glass and Angel Dust. Finally, Genuine Swarovski Crystals in Pale Rose dot her hair, Roses and the little butterfly. La Mode meaning "The Fashion" in French! This First Series of this note card collection is pure DIVINITY in a pallet of French Blue! In four gorgeous pastel colors, Rose, Lavender, Spring Green and French Blue. Perfect as thank you notes, teachers notes, tea party invites, buy a set as a gift for a friend or favorite teacher or just treat yourself to a set or two!Set of four note cards, 4.75 x 3.5, created on thick plush letterpress parchment in a Creamy White. Multiple layers of a soft Damask pattern in Heather Gray followed by a triple medallion in yet another Damask pattern in a deeper hue of gray for a perfectly balanced contrast. A Pearl Finished parchment in Spring Green rests beneath a Mannequin with a billowing tail of plumes encrusted in Authentic German Glass and Angel Dust, with a color coordinated Genuine Swarovski Crystal on the White Rose. Each card in a different color. A lovely French verse is depicted on the inside of the oval that is adorned with beautiful roses. A double ribbon in Organdy and Satin run gracefully down the center and through the inside of the cards giving an equal amount of beauty to the inside. Silver Pearl Finished Envelopes, beautifully lined, included.
