It's A Shoe Thing!

If I had to choose one thing to run out of the house with in case of a fire, aside from the obvious, you know, the KIDS, the DOG, oh yeah, my HUSBAND, the PHOTOGRAPHS, I would grab my SHOES! I, like so many of us women, just love SHOES! I love the classic PUMPS. The way they just transform your posture into a tall, sophisticated lady. The era that captures my attention hands down would have to be the '40's. Women wore PEEP TOE PUMPS and HATS, and they just carried themselves with pride. So I have chosen some of my favorite pumps by one of my favorite designers, CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN! This designer just captures everything I just mentioned above. CLASSIC, LADY LIKE, AND SOPHISTICATED ELEGANCE, with his signature RED soles! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Princess of the Blood

When choosing the name of my first on-line boutique, Chandler Michelle, it didn't take me long to come up with one. I knew from the begining it would be the name of my DAUPHINE, my PRINCESS, CHANDLER MICHELLE, pronounced, (mee-shell). I have always wanted a little girl and I was blessed with one! With my love and passion for FRANCE, I chose a French name of course. Chandler, meaning "Candle Maker" and Michelle, is the female version of " Michael". I had always loved the name Chandler, but I was needing a middle name and while on the sofa one day in my eighth month of my pregnancy I heard one of my favorite songs, " Michelle My Belle", by Paul McCartney of the Beatles, and I said, "That's it"! Michelle was to be her Middle name.
A DAUGHTER to pass down FAMILY TRADITIONS and RECIPES. To share STORIES of my childhood. To SHOP together and BAKE together, what fun! To buy beautiful DRESSES for all her special events, especially, her WEDDING DRESS, and lots of SLUMBER PARTIES! Getting MANI'S and PEDI'S. To soothe her when she needs me the most. Ahh yes, I am lucky and I thank God for giving the PRIVILEGE of loving her.

Bon jour everyone from La Petite Plume! It's a really rainy one here on the East coast, so I have decided to just "KICK UP ME HEELS TODAY"! I just love watching videos all day on days like today:) Or read a great book. I would rather be in VERSAILLES eating Bon Bons and having everyone cater to me, ha ha.
